Opulent living with a magnificent, panoramic ocean view
Perched on a bluff high above pristine Anini Beach, the Shearwater commands a breathtaking panoramic view that stretches beyond Hanalei's romantic Bali Hai in the west, all the way to the historic Kilauea Crater and Lighthouse in the east. You can bask in tranquil silence, interrupted only by the gentle rhythm of the surf and the occasional cry of a tropical bird.
Every spacious villa in this opulent resort enjoys a spectacular view of the ever-changing bay. You can relax in the privacy of your own suite; enjoy the clubhouse, pool and spa; or stroll the lush, landscaped grounds at your leisure. You're just minutes away from all the amenities of Princeville, including restaurants, beaches, golf courses and much more.

As 14 year owners at Shearwater, we always enjoy our time at our favorite place on earth. We so appreciate that Shearwater has retained the island motif in the units unlike other chain resorts.

WOW! It's quiet and peaceful nearly ALL the time, plus the coconut trees provide a delicious treat (if you can get it)! Truly a blessing to have stayed here.I can still see that lighthouse blinking in the distance, and hear the waves lightly crashing. Heavenly

Fantastic place, best island and best place on the island. Every unit has a huge lanai with a breathtaking ocean view. Always look forward to the Shearwater!

If there is a lovelier spot on the planet, we've never seen it. Three weeks was just not enough to spend at this exquisite resort. New furnishings are beautiful, but mornings on the lanai are as close to heaven as you can get.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shearwater. The small, intimate resort was perfect for our couple's get-away! The view from our lanai was spectacular!! We woke every morning to enjoy the sunrise and watched the lighthouse blinking in the distance...
