Drawing Winners - Michael & Sharon Walker

Drawing Winners - Michael & Sharon Walker

Ka 'Eo Kai owners Michael and Sharon Walker are the very happy winners of the complementary week at Bali Hai Villas. They were just one of over 1000 owners that have visited our new website and were entered into the drawing. By using the emails we are gathering, we will be able to provide information in a more timely manner as well as save money from costly mailings.

Michael and Sharon first visited Kauai with friends. They travel regularly to other world destination including several extended trips to Europe and found themselves returning regularly to Kauai. On one trip with friends, they stayed at Ka 'Eo Kai and were impressed by the quality of the property including the rooms made even more spacious with vaulted ceilings and the upkeep of the buildings and grounds. Michael walked into the sales office and they became owners that day.
Michael, a certified financial planner and retired Air Force Colonel, and Sharon, a Special Education Teacher return each year during spring break to relax and recharge their batteries. Their family includes a son and daughter and four grand kids. They often bring one of their children's families with them. It's been a great family experience for them. Michael taught his 10 year old grandson how to surf on Kauai and one granddaughter has made it clear that she wants to be included each time they go.
Michael and Sharon have shared many Kauai adventures together. They've gone zip-lining through the jungle, on whale watching excursions where they were surrounded by breaching whales, on several Na Pali cruises, watched the Albatross chicks in their nests during their morning walks, and golfed several of Kauai's beautiful courses. Michael has a picture of Sharon fully covered in red mud during an ATV trip. Each trip they use their kitchen to prepare fresh caught local fish at least once.
They also enjoy dining out.  At Wahoo Restaurant in Kapaa Michael really enjoyed the butter fish. A very enjoyable surprise was at the Puka Dog in Poipu where they enjoyed a fresh lemonade and hot dog with pineapple garlic relish.

What's new for this year? They are hoping to get a seating at a meal prepared by students in Kauai Junior College culinary program and take an all day cruise to the Na Pali coast and Nihau Island that they got at the LA Travel Show a month ago.

How are Michael and Sharon going to use their extra week? BRING the WHOLE FAMILY. Now they can bring all the grand kids at the same time! Michael and Sharon are looking forward to this but I think the grand kids are even more excited!

Michael hopes the website can open better communication between the owners on ways to enjoy our timeshares more like good restaurants and fun things to do.

Mahalo, Michael and Sharon, for sharing your story. And congratulation and ALOHA!
