The Bali Hai Villas saw many projects during 2010. Our original pool area was completely refurbished including repairs to the tile bottom, complete replacement of our stone pool deck, and new pool furniture and umbrellas. The cabana was repainted and the pool area was re-andscaped. Additional BBQ grills were added to both pools giving us 3 BBQ areas on property. Carpentry repairs to our stairways and lanais on six buildings
were completed prior to being painted.
Tree trimming, root pruning and parking lot repairs were also completed this year to correct the buckling of our parking lot and sidewalks in the areas surrounding Monkey Pod and Indian Rubber trees on the resort.
During our fall meetings, the board approved the purchase of new LCD TVs for all of our living rooms and bedrooms. They also approved the refurbishment of 60 units beginning in May 2011. These refurbishments, modeled after the newer units on the resort are expected to be completed in August 2011. Included will be new laminate flooring, carpet, living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture. Artwork, lamps, and lanai furniture are also part of this project. Buildings 1,2,3,4 and 8 are scheduled for 2011. Our remaining 69 units are planned to be refurbished in 2012.
During 2011, look for improved wireless internet service throughout the resort.
